Recently on Septermber 2nd, 2024, Chinese government published the lists of the sixth batch State-level Technologically “Little Giant” enterprises. After tough competitions among 5000 above Small and Medium-sized Enterprises throughout China, Microbrain Intelligent finally won the honor of “Little Giant” in 2024.
It indicates a great leap forward to Microbrain Intelligent after it won the honors of “Hunan Province Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise” in 2022 and “Hunan Province Technologically Advanced Small and Medium-sized Enterprise” in 2023. That means, Microbrain Intelligent has received high-level recognition about its innovation and growth potentials from national authorities.

In 2019, Government Work Report states that China will work to nurture specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, and provide them with more support in terms of funding, personnel, and development of business incubation platforms. From 2021 to 2025, China Central Finance will arrange a total of over RMB 10 billion as government awards and subsidies to guide local governments in improving assistance policies and the public service system, support the high-quality development of over 1,000 state-level technologically advanced ‘little giant' enterprises, and encourage them to serve as a role model.

They typically specialize in niche sectors, command high market shares and boast strong innovative capacity. “Little Giants” focus on specific markets and main businesses that have strong innovation capabilities and huge growth potentials.
