Core Technology: 7 Radar Models Unveiled to Safeguard Low-Altitude Airspace

The strong turnout reflects MicroBrain Intelligent’s years of dedicated research and accumulated expertise in millimeter-wave radar technology. Targeting the two core pain points in drone operations – obstacle avoidance and altitude holding – the company launched seven dedicated drone millimeter-wave radars at the exhibition. This comprehensive product matrix fully ensures the safety of low-altitude flights.

Drone Obstacle Avoidance Radar Series

This series includes models such as UAV-R21-1, UAV-R120-1, UAV-R21-60-EFT, and UAV-R50-60. Independently developed by MicroBrain Intelligent, these obstacle avoidance radars are lightweight millimeter-wave sensors featuring high measurement accuracy, compact size, high sensitivity, light weight, easy integration and stable performance.

By emitting 77–79GHz / 60GHz fan-shaped electromagnetic waves forward and processing echo signals, the system identifies obstacles, feeds back real-time data on relative distance, velocity and azimuth angle, and guides the drone to avoid hazards for safe flight.

Drone Altitude Measurement Radar Series

The altitude Measurement millimeter-wave radars are independently developed by Changsha MicroBrain Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Utilizing 77–81GHz / 60Ghz frequency bands, these radars achieve 2cm measurement accuracy, and also boast compact size, high sensitivity, light weight, easy integration and stable performance.

They are mainly used to detect the ground height beneath drones, adapting to various complex terrain environments to meet the altitude guidance needs of agricultural plant protection drones, small delivery drones and other unmanned aerial platforms. Available models include UAV-H30-1, UAV-H200-1 and the flagship UAV-H500.

From high-precision altitude control to long-range obstacle avoidance, MicroBrain Intelligent radars leverage the advantages of high-frequency bands while maintaining a compact form factor, high sensitivity and easy integration. They are now fully compatible with mainstream aircraft platforms, including multi-rotor, fixed-wing and eVTOL vehicles.
