At the entry/exit of parking garage, the barrier gate open automatically while vehicles approaching. Then how do barrier gate detect the vehicles? People always have to damage ground and place wires of loop detector underground, which is complicated, labour cost and ground damaged.
By now, Microbrain has designed and developed the newest wireless millimeter-wave radar for vehicle detection.
What is Millimeter Wave Radar?
Millimeter wave radar is a radar that works in millimeter wave. Millimeter waves refer to the 30 ~ 300GHz frequency band (the wavelength is 1 to 10 mm). This radar is used for the accurate sensing of location, velocity, and angle and can perform with no interference.
Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor VS Loop Detector
Compared to Loop Detector, the Millimeter-wave Radar has apparently advantages as below:
